Yes! I am staging today but not just any home…my home! Our beautiful home is back on the market. I have prolonged writing this in hopes that my frustration would diminish. Sad to report- it hasn’t! The buyers called and the other day and said due to financial restraints that they couldn’t commit to the sale. Okay, well shouldn’t we have found this out prior to putting a contract down and going through the whole motion? I still think there were some underlying issues but that’s between God and them.
The appraisal and inspection came out great and so we thought “yay, here we go”. I pray for everything, house selling, the new buyers, etc. but apparently they weren’t the “ones” meant for this home. I mean, come on—look at the cute inviting door!
Either way–still frustrated, irritated, annoyed, every “ed” word basically. I’m a firm believer in that when you’re feelin’ crappy about something, you should write it down-so here I am. So beit that I’m sharing it on my blog, but perhaps you can learn from this. The lesson here… be firm with your buyers, get back offers, the sooner you can set a closing date- the better, and keep trusting that God will do what’s best for you.
For right now, unpacking a few items to make my home beautiful again and clinging to my faith that God will put the right people in this home. Prayers absolutely welcomed (just as my door states)!
Back to listening to some Bob Seger (my “go-to” motivational crooner)—thank you for letting me vent!
