I’ve got plenty of rosemary but what I really meant is I need
thyme TIME! Why does it go by so quickly? Like some unreachable task or goal. I’m totally stubborn when it comes to many things- especially wanting to do things on my own, to a dreadful fault I might add. After a long contemplation period on whether to migrate over to wordpress.org and become self hosted, I decided to do it on my own. Everything I read said it was easy enough and given the fact that I know I’m not entirely dumb, I jumped in. Well, two weeks later, countless hours and stressful moments when I doubted myself, I was able to transfer my old posts & pictures.
I’m still not completely done, as you can see throughout my site. But I needed to vent to help me not feel so entirely “les incompétent”.
While I resume on my updates and changes, I hope I you will not lose interest as I’m thankful my husband hasn’t. He’s been most patient while the house falls to disarray, while the cupboards are bare and I get especially creative with meals using whatever I can find in the pantry and freezer. The other night it was Monte-Cristo sandwich night.
Luckily, they were pretty delicious. But fast forward to today being Easter and we have no significant plans. Let’s see what we can put together for dinner 😉
Don’t you just wish there was a life “pause” button we could push sometimes? In the meantime, I hope I will be in love with my new blog when I’m done and that you will be happy to visit for a spell. Happy Easter friends~
