Boo was awesome and suggested we have a date night to see “It’s A Wonderful Life”. We headed downtown to the one and only Paramount Theatre where it lead to the perfect way to start the holiday season. We debated whether to go to the tree lighting in the square at a nearby town but this proved to be the smarter and best choice. The building’s architecture is breathtakingly beautiful and even Boo was in awe. Every detail of craftsmanship was amazing. I could sit in there for hours to revel in every single detail. Heck! I would even work there just so I could completely immerse myself in its beauty!!!
The movie was spectacular on that screen and I don’t know if it was just the fact that the movie itself is such a classic combined with the nostalgia of being able to see it in this place, but it was by far—– one of the best Christmas evenings EVER!
It was decided on the way home that this will become one of our new Christmas traditions, to celebrate the beginning of the holiday with one of their Christmas classics at the Paramount. Thank you! Not only to those that had the vision of creating such a masterpiece but to those that have seen to preserving such a gem~
so let the holidays begin!
