It’s pepper’s season and my lovely neighbor (Erin), sent over some jalapeno peppers & fresh tomatoes from her garden.
What do you make with those? Well in Texas and at THIS household we happily welcome them. So on Sunday morning, I put my apron on and off to the kitchen I went. By 12:07, I had made a batch of jalapeno jelly, fresh salsa and even some homemade flour tortillas for Sweets to take back with her.
Sweets will of course have to roll out the testales after they thaw out… but L & S will be so happy to have Momma’s fresh tortillas! (I know they will)!
