Enjoyin’ a quiet morning with Dozee Doh by my side and thanking God for the beautiful gift of friendship. He has always put
some amazing people in my path and in doing so, we have developed great bonds.
Yesterday, was my “hasta luego soiree” at the house. My
sweet “AWESOME” friends came over to help
me pack, there was food involved, (of course) & delicious dessert that Davilyn brought
and then… they helped kick out all of my kitchen and living room packing! Never has packing been
so much fun!!! No joke!
Of course, when you’re moving and packing – there’s this sentimental journey we tend to go down. We start reflecting, (or at least I do), on why we came here, where we are going, and who we are leaving behind.
All I can tell you is what I tell my kids, and that is- that no matter where God puts you, HE puts you there for a reason. You can either love it, disregard it, or learn from it. My belief is… “learn from it”. It has been a great tool for me and has helped me to not take advantage of the places or people that have been placed in my journey. They have all served me in one way or another – I just hope that I have done the same for them.
I am going to miss seeing these beautiful people as often as I have enjoyed seeing them while I’ve been here, but I know that we will stay in touch and there will be many visits. I thank God for always looking out for me.
the beautiful faces…
the exhausted faces…lol!
the little friendship “thank you” token I made them…
to show my appreciation but with a hidden agenda… hopefully when they see it that they think of our friendship and what they mean to me…cause I sure do ♥ ’em!!!
It was a blast! Thank you sweet friends- hasta very soon!
for you diy’ers… here’s the little poem that I attached to the iron keys – (I used my cricut to make the tags out of scrapbook paper)
A good friend is a connection to life-
a tie to the past, a road to the future;
the KEY to sanity-
