We’ve got some dog day solutions for you AND your dog!
Check out POOCH here! She was actually pouting or maybe the summer heat has gotten to her as well. My momma calls these days- DOG DAYS. Meaning they’re “holier- hotter than you spreading tar on a hot roof” kinda days! We all know Texas heat can be brutal! But we must boogie on! Around here, I’ve been working on some wood projects, traveling and designing some future projects. OH! And helping with a wedding this weekend (which I’m very excited about)! YES—in my spare time, I’m a party planner–lol!
These next two posts are about blending up some homemade goodness that are both refreshing and help to cool you off during these dog days.
Anyways–My sis and BIL were in town recently and brougt us a ginormous Valley watermelon. So GOOD! Who doesn’t love watermelon (sandia)?! Along with loving a slice here and there, I LOVE to make agua fresca with it!
They’re super quick and an easy way to enjoy your fresh watermelon. Just by blending it all up for a refreshing summer drink! YUM!

So good and so easy! And I gotta tell you my pooch loves watermelon and the only way I could get her to back off and let me enjoy my beverage was by enticing her with these all natural bully sticks. When asked if I would review some dog treats, I hesitated until I read the ingredients on these. You know I like to make homemade dog treats for her because they are a WHOLE lot better than store packaged stuff but these are all natural and she went nuts over them! If you happen to come across these at your local supermarket or amazon—treat your pet. (#wyldlifepets)
Tomorrow’s post will be another refreshing drink! Stay tuned~
Yummy!
Really like the recipe and shared it on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Have a great day!
Thank you Carol, you’re a doll and I appreciate it! Happy Summer!
