We came home from vacation and poochie pie was all out of dog treats. We want to keep our pets happy, so we treat them to the most fabulous homemade dog biscuits that you can whip up in no time. These are super easy and your dogs will love them.
I found this recipe on allrecipes after looking for ingredients I had on hand already. I made some changes to it and gathered ingredients & made these biscuits.
Instead of rolling out, I just formed ’em into “mini” bites for her “mini” mouth! And as you can see in the background, she loved them, so she kept waiting patiently for more.
If you’ve got old bananas (like I mentioned on my last post), and some peanut butter on hand… get to baking these wonderful little treats for your favorite 4 legged friend!
BANANA PeanutButter DOG BISCUITS
1 egg
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup mashed banana
1 tablespoon honey
1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1 egg white, lightly beaten, for brushing
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
Stir together the egg, peanut butter, banana, and honey in a medium bowl; blend thoroughly. Stir in the flour and flax seed; mix well. Roll into 1″ balls and flatten after placing on baking sheet. Brush tops with egg white.
Bake in preheated oven until dried and golden brown, about 23 minutes, depending on size. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack. Store in airtight container.

Def gonna make these? Where do u get flax seed?
Hi there and yes, you need to try them cause your doggie is going to love them! Just checked on my neighbor as i shared some with her dog and she said she devoured ’em immediately. You would think it’s crack by the way my doggie is chowin’ ’em down! LOL You can buy flax at almost any grocery store. Usually by the baking section with the different flour groups or cornmeal & oats. Let me know how your buddy likes ’em! Thank you for stopping by~Belle
