I had a beautiful weekend and it all started with my friends! Started out the weekend with hosting a girls Christmas Brunch for my lovely g-friends! The house was decorated for the holidays and ready to be the perfect spot for a quiet & fun gathering.
Planning a menu for a gathering is one of my favorite things to do. Especially if it’s for dear friends, that’s the best! Once I settled on a menu I was happy with, I went out to my herb garden and gathered some fresh sprigs of rosemary & chives. I usually go with a menu that won’t have to be served piping out. This time around, I decided to prepare some “hot” dishes since the weather was perfect for that.
Then it was thawing out fresh (frozen) fruit. Lots of cooking and stirring with music in the background of course!
Yumminess ready for the oven!
Fruit.
and homemade french toast.
Here are the goodies all laid out for devouring! Festive and delicious!
The menu:
- fruit salad
- french toast with coconut syrup
- chile egg souffles
- peach melba mimosas
It was the perfect little menu and having the girls over is always such a treat!
