Been under the weather and I hate that.  But in order to feel better I pump myself full of oils, liquids like teas & smoothies. What can be better than healthy antioxidant filled smoothies?  Like Matcha Green Tea ones???  I keep telling myself that I’m feeling matcha-matcha better because of my homemade little brews!

Here’s a delicious recipe that is OH so easy and simple to make.  Lucky for me, a few months ago I received a package of matcha to sample and review on here.  Each morning and afternoon I’ve been blending up a bit in hopes of pumping my body up with healing goodness.

Matcha Shake

  • 1 T. matcha powder
  • 1/4 t. ground ginger
  • 1 T. honey
  • 1 c. almond milk
  • Handful of ice

In a blender, blend the matcha, ginger, honey, milk and ice until smooth. Serve in a chilled glass. (Makes 1 serving)

I got this recipe from here but added ginger for a kick and almond milk since I’m not a fan of regular milk.  It is so easy and tastes so refreshing that you don’t even know how good it really is for you.
