We’ve been in our new H❤︎ME for 2 1/2 months now. Our busy accomplishments drove us and kept us going in order to set a date for our Ribbon cutting – Open House.
On Friday, September 14th…we did just that! Many of our friends, family, new friends, and community came out in support and to tour our place.
We were so excited to see so many show up.
While I greeted those coming in the door, Boo remained upstairs to give the room tours. We couldn’t have been happier with the way the evening progressed and that everything worked out as it was planned.
What is an Open House without fresh flowers? Cause I gotta say that some people are just too sweet! Some of my “new friends” dropped off some fresh flowers and my wonderful husband had the local florist deliver some sunflowers. (Btw Kathleen, your flowers went so well with the sunflowers that I decided to combine them!)

We were both so busy greeting and mingling, we didn’t get any photos of the visitors. I did manage to get pictures of the food prepping and menu items. Here’s a look.

These were for the pancake and fruit picks…lots of mini buttermilk pancakes. (I had to keep the 1 year old grandchild from eating them all!)

Boo and I were so happy that so many came out to support us on our BIG DAY!

Now to settle back down, take our time doing the remainder of updates, painting, and such. But mainly taking time to enjoy this new place of ours!
Stay tuned for the next post on something delicious–perfect for a Fall day!

What a delightful way to present your new endeavor to your neighbors and friends! Everything is beautifully presented and I know it all tasted even better! You and Boo are an asset no matter where your key fits the door! God’s blessings to you and your family! I love you!
Lisa thank you so much! I know you’ll always support me no matter what and I love you for that. It was a lovely celebration and I know your blessings and thoughts were and will continue to be with us! Love you!!!
