Mint Simple Syrup


  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. fresh rinsed mint leaves


  • Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and boil on medium - high heat until sugar is dissolved, then simmer for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Strain leaves and pour syrup into a jar or closed container. Refrigerate until ready to use in your favorite drink!
